Background
Growing up in country Victoria (in a small town on the NSW and Victorian boarder) I always had a deep interest in fashion. However, it was not until we did a costume unit in year 11 textiles that I found my true passion.
Inspirations
Two huge influences on my style are designers Alexander McQueen and Elsa Schiaparelli. Their inventive use of materials and textures continually inspires me. Specific inspirations for my costumes are 1920s, Hollywood glamour of the 1930s and geometric shapes.
Future Aspirations
My dream job would be to work at the Victorian and Albert museum in restoration, conservation and curation of costumes. While free lance costume designing on the side.
