Background
Growing up in rural Victoria, I spent many weekends preforming with the local theatre company, where an interest and appreciation for costume developed.
Inspirations
The inspiration for my male costume comes from the Samurai and ancient Asian military. It is a mix medium piece, with a variety of art finishing process being used, including; wood work, leather work and mould making.
My female piece is an 1800 Lady Marian Tret style, with a large latex wound. It is influenced by early gore films and 1800 century European court.
Future Aspirations
I plan to continue studying to increase my knowledge in a variety of different areas dealing with a variety of different mediums. Eventually I would like to specialise in art finishing for theatre or film.
